Focusing on race-specific skills and strategies.

As the World Triathlon Titles in Wollongong approach, this session offers the perfect chance to fine-tune your swim leg with race-specific preparation. Open to athletes aged 15 and over, the session begins with a 30-minute Q&A led by Phil Clayton, an Olympic triathlon coach who grew up training in Wollongong Harbour. Swimmers will then take to the water to practise starts, buoy turns, pack skills, and swim exits. Although this session draws on elements of the Wollongong course, athletes preparing for other events are also welcome to attend.
